 | Manitowoc Grey Iron Foundry, Inc. takes a pro-a.ctive role in minimizing
and/or eliminating exposure to injury. An Ergonomics Program has been
established to address issues related to Musculoskeletal Disorders. This
program will include employee education and training, ergonomic analysis of
the workplace, and ergonomic consideration during the design of new
workstations. Every effort will be made to apply ergonomic principles to
workplace changes and to respond to employees concerns regarding ergonomic
problems. Early reporting of MSDs by employees will be encouraged to their
supervisors and Human Resources. Employees who are engaged in intensive,
highly repetitive work will be given the opportunity for frequent, short
alternate work activities. and job rotation if feasible. |
